About the Course

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Certificate course consists of a series of 12 modules. These include:

1. Pulmonary Rehabilitation
2. Pathophysiology and Assessment of COPD
3. Assessment and Management of Patients other than COPD
4. Pharmacologic Interventions
5. Supplemental Oxygen Administration
6. Exercise Assessment, Prescription, and Training in Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Part 1
7. Exercise Assessment, Prescription, and Training in Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Part 2
8. Tobacco Cessation
9. Nutrition and Pulmonary Disease
10. Psychosocial Assessment and Intervention in Pulmonary Rehabilitation
11. Collaborative Self-Management
12. Outcomes Measurement in Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Criteria for successful completion includes viewing all course videos in their entirety as well as scoring 70% or higher on the post-course test. Participants are allowed only two attempts at the post-course test. Successful completion of the course means one can include “Certificate in Pulmonary Rehabilitation, AARC/AACVPR” on their resume/CV and in their email signature line.
